About Us

At Hunger Crush Café, we are ready to welcome diners for breakfast, brunch, lunch, happy hour and dinner, seven days a week. Our casual, inviting restaurant with gorgeous Lake Conroe views, will fill hungry patrons with American comfort food, paired with an exciting, slightly eclectic twist on classic dishes! Local owners, Mike and Mary Kelton, have created a fun, vibrant space for community gatherings with a focus on giving back - a portion of sales will be donated to the Montgomery County Food Bank. 

The vibrant, fresh interiors give the space a casual, contemporary feel, with splashes of color and textures from floor tiles to brick walls and attractive, pendant lighting. A large communal table will feature a “no phone zone” to encourage interaction and new friendships. The Kelton’s appreciation for “social media-worthy” back stories inspired them to commission Conroe-area artist Jodi “Shen” Goldman-Hallford. Shen created a playful art installation that fills an entire wall in the café. The bright colors and images of the lake’s iconic light houses, nearby pine forests, and families at play, sums up the laid-back “lake life” vibe of Lake Conroe and its surrounding communities.
